Hospital ERP
Enterprise resource planning applied to a hospital — finance, stores, HR and procurement, usually alongside rather than instead of an HMS.

ERP software manages an organisation's back-office resources: general ledger, purchasing, inventory, payroll, fixed assets. A hospital ERP applies that to a hospital, and in larger groups it sits beside the clinical and billing system rather than replacing it — the HMS runs patient-facing work, the ERP runs the corporate books.
Why it matters in a hospital
Small and mid-sized hospitals are frequently sold an ERP when what they need is an HMS, or told an HMS will replace their accounting. Neither is usually true. The overlap is real but partial: an HMS handles patient billing, collections and pharmacy stock, while statutory accounting, payroll and supplier ledgers generally stay in a separate accounting package that most Indian hospitals already run. The useful question is where the boundary sits and how the two exchange data — usually a periodic export rather than live integration.
How Trisvio handles it
Trisvio is not an ERP. It covers patient billing, collections, pharmacy purchasing and stock, and management reporting, and exports CSV for accounting. There is no general ledger, no payroll, no supplier payments and no Tally integration — a hospital keeps its accounting package and reconciles against the exports.
