Hospital Reports & Analytics Software

Hospital management needs a clear, honest picture of what happened — not a black-box prediction. The reports hub brings daily collection, revenue, operations, revenue exceptions, and an audit-log viewer into one place.

In short

Reports & Analytics gathers daily collection, revenue by mode, operations counts, the revenue-control dashboard and an audit-log viewer into one hub — all drawn directly from the hospital’s own records.

Who uses it
Admins and owners review reports and the audit log; front desk reconciles daily collection at shift end.
What it records
Nothing new — it reads directly from billing, clinical and admin records already created elsewhere in the system.
What it prints / exports
Reports render on screen, with CSV exports of the day book, revenue control and GST outward summary; none of these is a statutory form.

What you get

  • Daily collection at a glanceSee the day’s collection broken down so front-desk and finance staff can reconcile cash, UPI, and card without cross-checking separate registers.
  • Revenue over a range, by modeView revenue collected by payment mode alongside amounts billed across bills and pharmacy sales, for any date range you choose.
  • Operations counts over a rangeSee registrations, OPD visits, IP admissions, discharges, and lab orders over a range, giving admin and owners a factual view of hospital activity.
  • The revenue-control dashboard, in the same hubA live "right now" view of pending revenue exceptions, discounts and draft payouts sits alongside a "this period" view of what was billed, collected, and resolved — see Revenue Controls for the detail.
  • An audit-log viewer for accountabilityAdmins can review the hospital-scoped audit log, filtered by entity and action, to see who did what and when — useful for accountability, not for forecasting.

How it works

  1. Open the reports hub

Reports are gathered in one place rather than scattered across modules, so admin and finance staff know where to look.

  2. Pick daily collection or a date range

Check today’s collection directly, or choose a range for revenue and operations reports.

  3. Read revenue and operations together

Revenue shows collection by mode plus billed amounts across bills and pharmacy sales; operations shows registration, OPD, IP, discharge, and lab counts for the same period.

  4. Check the revenue-control dashboard

A separate live card shows dues right now, pending discounts and draft payouts, plus the four revenue leak vectors awaiting review.

  5. Check the audit log when needed

Admins filter the hospital-scoped audit log by entity and action to trace a specific change or review activity.

Who uses it

  • AdminReview daily collection, revenue, operations, revenue exceptions, and the audit log from one reports hub instead of piecing together separate registers.
  • Owner / financeSee revenue collected by mode and billed across bills and pharmacy sales over any range, plus what’s pending review right now, for a clear financial picture.
  • Front desk / receptionReconcile the day's cash, UPI, and card collections at shift end using the daily collection report, so the drawer is balanced without manual cross-checking separate registers.

In detail

Two views: right now, and this period

The revenue-control view inside the reports hub is deliberately split into two cards so a live figure is never mistaken for one scoped to a date range. A "right now" card shows dues outstanding, discounts pending approval, draft payouts, and the four pending revenue leak vectors. A separate "this period" card, scoped to whatever range is chosen, shows billed and collected totals, payouts paid, discounts approved, waived amounts from cancelled visits, and cash-closing variance — plus which exceptions were resolved in that period and how.

An audit log for accountability, not prediction

Nothing in this hub forecasts, scores, or predicts. Every figure is read directly from the hospital’s own billing and clinical records for the period selected, and the audit log exists so an admin can trace who did what and when — not to project what might happen next. Occupancy and length-of-stay figures used elsewhere in the product are computed from admission and discharge timestamps already recorded through IPD & Admissions, not from a separate manual log.

Frequently asked questions

Is this predictive analytics or AI-driven forecasting?

No. These are operational and management reports — daily collection, revenue by mode, operations counts, revenue exceptions, and an audit log — drawn directly from the hospital’s own billing and clinical records. There is no forecasting, prediction, or AI scoring involved.

What does the revenue report actually show?

For a date range you choose, it shows revenue collected by payment mode alongside amounts billed across bills and pharmacy sales, so finance staff can see both collection and billing activity together.

Who can see the audit log?

The audit-log viewer is available to admins and is scoped to the hospital, with filters by entity and action — it is meant for accountability and tracing changes, not for analytics or trend prediction.

Does the reports hub show revenue exceptions too?

Yes. The same hub carries the revenue-control dashboard — dues right now, pending discounts, draft payouts and the four leak vectors awaiting review — alongside the daily and period reports. See Revenue Controls for how that queue works.
