Hospital Management Software for Small & Mid-Sized Hospitals
Small and mid-sized multi-specialty hospitals run OPD and IPD on one system — patient registration, wards, GST-aware billing with revenue-leak controls, pharmacy, lab, reports and role-based access — cloud-hosted, built for an India region.
Trisvio runs a general multi-specialty hospital’s outpatient and inpatient sides on one platform, sharing the same patient record and billing ledger across every department.
- Who it's for
- A general hospital running both OPD and IPD across several departments, not a single-specialty or OPD-only setup.
- Daily workflow
- Registration and OPD through the day, wards and nursing running alongside, billing, pharmacy and lab feeding the same ledger, reports reviewed at day’s end.
- What's not included
- No insurance/TPA claims module, no ABDM integration, no consolidated view across more than one hospital.
Why Trisvio fits small & mid multi-specialty hospitals
- OPD and IP on one systemOutpatient consultations and inpatient admissions share the same patient record and the same billing ledger, so a patient moving from OPD to IP doesn’t mean re-entering data into a second system.
- No server to maintainTrisvio is cloud-hosted, built to run in an Indian cloud region — there’s no on-site server to buy, patch, or maintain. You just need an internet connection.
- Configurable access for every departmentRole-based access control lets reception, nursing, doctors, pharmacy, lab, and billing each see and do only what their role permits, configured per hospital rather than hard-coded.
- Revenue integrity built in, not bolted onA consultation is charged the moment a visit starts, and pharmacy, lab and discharge each ask for a reason before letting underpaid money through — every gap lands in a queue an owner can review.
- Billing you can actually seeGST-aware billing across cash, UPI, and card, with advances and a daily collection view, gives the front office and management a clear, reconciled picture of money coming in every day.
The day-to-day workflow
Morning: registration and OPD
Front desk registers new patients or pulls up existing MR records, checks patients into the OPD queue, and nursing records vitals ahead of consultations.
Through the day: wards run alongside
The admission desk places patients on the bed board, nurses record nursing notes, and per-diem bed charges accrue automatically for every day of stay.
Billing and pharmacy feed the same ledger
OPD consultations, IPD charges, and pharmacy sales all post to the same patient bill, with GST applied per line and payments recorded in cash, UPI or card.
Lab orders flow from the consultation
A doctor orders a test directly from OPD, the sample is accessioned by barcode, and the result goes through two-stage verification before it is final.
End of day: collection, exceptions and cash close
Admin reviews the daily collection report, checks the revenue-exceptions queue for anything needing a decision, and cashiers close the day’s cash count against the system total.

In detail
One patient record, from the front door to discharge
A patient registered at the front desk carries the same MR number into an OPD consultation, and if they’re admitted, into the IPD stay too — nobody re-keys demographics into a second screen partway through the visit. The same billing ledger follows the patient the whole way: a consultation charge from the morning, pharmacy items dispensed during the stay, and the per-diem bed charges all land on the same account and settle together at discharge.
A general hospital’s full stack, not a stripped-down slice
Unlike the nursing-home or clinic setups, a general multi-specialty hospital typically runs every module Trisvio offers — OPD and IPD together, pharmacy, lab, revenue controls, reports and the statutory registers. That’s the difference this solution is built around: hospitals with real outpatient volume and a ward to manage need OPD and IP genuinely sharing data, not a lightweight version of one or the other.
What isn't included today
- No insurance/TPA claims workflow — billing is direct, by cash, UPI or card.
- No ABDM/ABHA registry integration — any identifier stored on a patient record stays inside Trisvio, it isn’t synced to the national health-data exchange.
- No PACS, and no X-ray, CT or MRI reporting — imaging is limited to an optional ultrasound-reporting module.
- No native mobile app — Trisvio is a web application, used through a browser.
- No consolidated dashboard or reporting across more than one hospital — see our page on hospital groups for how multi-branch operation works today.

Frequently asked questions
Does Trisvio handle both outpatient and inpatient workflows?
Yes. Registration, OPD consultation, and IPD/admissions all run on the same platform and share the same patient record and billing ledger, so a patient admitted after an OPD visit doesn’t need to be re-entered into a separate system.
Is Trisvio cloud-hosted or on-premise?
Trisvio is cloud-hosted, built to run in an Indian cloud region. It needs an internet connection for day-to-day operations — patient registration, OPD, billing, pharmacy, and reports all run through the platform.
Does Trisvio help stop money slipping through billing gaps?
Yes — see our revenue controls feature. Consultations are charged automatically, pharmacy, lab and discharge ask for a reason when money is still payable (or, if the hospital chooses, an underpaid counter sale or routine discharge is refused until paid), and every gap goes into a queue an admin reviews.
What does Trisvio cost for a small or mid-sized hospital?
Pricing is matched to the size and needs of your hospital rather than a one-size-fits-all number — talk to us and we’ll work out what fits.
