Hospital calculators
Three calculators for the numbers hospital administrators track most: bed occupancy rate, average length of stay and ARPOB. Every calculator works without JavaScript — the page renders a worked example on the server — and recalculates live once your inputs change.

Where these numbers come from
Occupancy, ALOS and ARPOB all come from the same underlying data — admissions, discharges and daily revenue. In Trisvio these are computed automatically in the census, ALOS and bed-occupancy MIS reports; see hospital analytics. For the document templates that pair with these numbers, see templates, and for the underlying rules and workflows, see guides.
Each calculator page cites the source it uses for the formula. None of these tools store the numbers you enter — calculations run in your browser, so you can try figures from more than one ward or month without anything being saved or sent anywhere. If you're checking your own hospital's numbers for the first time, start with bed occupancy and ALOS together — they're built from the same admission and discharge data, and reading them side by side usually explains more than either one alone.
