Corporate / Credit Billing

In short

Billing an empanelled employer or organisation on credit for its employees' treatment, rather than charging the patient directly.

Corporate or credit billing is where a hospital treats employees, or their dependants, of an empanelled company or organisation and bills the entity on credit instead of collecting from the patient at the counter — typically against an agreed corporate tariff and separately negotiated credit terms.

Why it matters in a hospital

Corporate tie-ups are a meaningful, steady patient channel for many hospitals, but they only work smoothly if credit is tracked accurately against the right company from the moment of admission. Otherwise, reconciling a month's worth of corporate invoices becomes its own manual chore for the billing office, and disputes over who was actually covered for what become harder to resolve after the fact. For hospitals near industrial areas or large employers, corporate patients can represent a significant, recurring share of OPD and IPD volume, which makes getting the tie-up's billing terms and eligibility rules right an operational priority rather than a minor administrative detail.

How Trisvio handles it

Trisvio's billing centres on direct cash, UPI and card collection from the patient; a dedicated corporate account or credit-billing workflow with company-level invoicing and periodic settlement is not part of the product today. A hospital with a significant corporate caseload would need to track eligibility and consolidate invoices for those companies outside the system, using Trisvio's own billing only to record what an individual patient visit actually cost, rather than to manage the company-level credit relationship or the recurring invoicing cycle itself.
