FHIR
The modern HL7 standard for health data exchange, built on web APIs and JSON — and, in India, the basis of ABDM data sharing.

FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) is HL7's modern successor to v2: instead of pipe-delimited messages it defines resources — Patient, Observation, Encounter — exchanged over ordinary REST APIs as JSON. It is the foundation of most current national health-data programmes, India's ABDM among them.
Why it matters in a hospital
FHIR is how health records are expected to move between organisations, as opposed to HL7 v2's traditional job of moving data between machines inside one building. For an Indian hospital the practical relevance is ABDM: sharing records against a patient's ABHA number, and appearing in the national facility and practitioner registries, is specified in FHIR terms. Whether that matters to a particular hospital today depends on its patients and its payers — for many small hospitals it is not yet a daily concern, but it is the direction the ecosystem is moving.
How Trisvio handles it
Trisvio does not implement FHIR, and does not integrate with ABDM, HFR or HPR. Its analyser integration uses HL7 v2 and ASTM, which is a different problem — machine-to-system inside the hospital rather than organisation-to-organisation. A hospital that needs ABDM participation today should treat that as a gap and ask for a timeline rather than assume it is covered.
